Five New Layouts, Your Own Analytics, and a Portfolio Built to Be Found
If your Galasya portfolio has looked the same since the day you signed up, that changes today. I rebuilt the whole thing from the ground up: new layouts, new sections, your own analytics, and portfolio pages that are actually built to get found on Google.
Here is everything that is new.
Five layouts, fully rebuilt
You used to choose from eight simple layouts. Now there are five, each fully rebuilt with its own sections and customization options, and you can switch between them any time without losing your content.
- Tequila: a clean, dark professional layout that works for almost any role.
- Whiskey: near-black with a cyan glow, built for developers and technical profiles.
- Vodka: deep indigo with a coral accent and a persistent top navigation.
- Beer: a multi page, editorial layout with its own Projects, Work Experience, About, and Contact pages instead of one long scroll.
- Gin: a soft, tactile multi page layout with an equipment showcase, a public bulletin board, and a few playable games built in.
Pick the one that fits how you present yourself, customize its accent color, and reorder or hide sections you do not need.
Show off more than just work history
Your portfolio is no longer limited to projects and work experience. You can now add:
- Services: list what you offer, with pricing info and an icon for each one, so clients know exactly what they can hire you for.
- Testimonials: feature quotes from past clients right on your page, in the order you choose.
- Equipment (Gin layout): show the gear you work with, grouped by category.
Built to actually be found
Your portfolio now renders server side with proper page titles, descriptions, and structured data search engines understand, plus automatic inclusion in the sitemap. You can also write your own SEO title and description if you want more control over how your page shows up in search results. Standing out to clients starts with being found in the first place, and your portfolio is now working for you on that front every day, not just when someone already has your link.
See who is actually visiting
Want real numbers on who is checking out your portfolio? You can now connect your own Google Analytics measurement ID from the Layouts page. Once it is set, your portfolio tracks its own visitor data separately from anything Galasya measures, so the traffic and the insights are entirely yours.
Looks right everywhere it gets shared
Every portfolio now generates its own branded preview card automatically, so when you drop your link in Messenger, a Facebook post, or an email signature, it shows your name, title, and photo instead of a generic thumbnail.
A couple of extras on Gin
If you pick the Gin layout, visitors can leave you a message on a public bulletin board right on your portfolio, and you decide whether new messages show up publicly or stay private until you approve them. There are also a few small in browser games tucked into the layout, just because a portfolio does not have to be all business.
How to switch
- Log in to your Galasya account
- Click Layouts in your dashboard
- Pick a layout and hit Customize to reorder sections, set your accent color, or add your SEO details and analytics ID
- Publish, then share your link
That is it. No rebuild from scratch, no losing the projects, skills, or experience you already added.
